Sheila Maureen Berreth, 74, of Snohomish, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026. She was born in Seattle on July 25, 1951, to Erwin and Luwana Waller and spent her career as a hairdresser. That was her trade, but her real work was people. She knew how to ensure that whoever was sitting in her chair felt like the only person in the room.
In 1984, she met Bruce, who recognized that quality in her, married her two months later, and remains grateful to have spent the last forty-one and a half years with her.
If you knew her, you knew the long goodbye. She was never in a rush to leave a conversation, and it became a running joke with Bruce—who once famously left her at a party because she was having such a good time she wouldn't leave. She simply didn't want the party to end.
She is survived by her husband, Bruce; her children, Tony (Angy), Travis (Stacy), and Katelyn (Branson); and her grandchildren, Nico, Noe, Maya, and Sabrina.
Sheila’s nephew Robert Berreth will officiate a graveside service at GAR Cemetery, 8601 Riverview Road, Snohomish, WA 98290, on Saturday, May 30th at 2:00 PM.
Although we weren't ready for this party to come to an end, we are grateful to have been invited, and will have a celebration of her life on Saturday, July 25th, her 75th birthday.
