

Wallace "Bo" Henderson was born in Easley, South Carolina. When Bo was 3 years old his parents, Fred & Clara moved the family to Manor, Georgia. He spent his growing up years in Manor during the great depression.
From Bo’s sister Joan, “Bo was a beautiful little boy and was loved by everyone around him in Georgia. Further, Bo was a well loved son by Fred and Clara”.
He attended school in Manor from 1st - 11th grade (they only went to 11th grade). Bo graduated from high school then attended North Georgia College in Dahlonega, Georgia for one year.
He joined the Navy in 1951 working as an Aviation Structural Mechanic, 3rd class. Bo was stationed in Okinawa, Japan, Padre Island, Texas and Whidbey Island, Washington. He was Honorably Discharged on 2/17/55.
During his time in the Navy Bo met his wife, Marilyn as she stepped off a bus on Whidbey Island. They were married on 8/14/54 until her passing on 2/11/14. Bo and Marilyn raised their two sons Guy and Mark in Snohomish.
Bo worked for VitaMilk until he started his own successful local business, Henderson’s Screens. He was an active person in their community. He ran for the position of County Auditor in 1974.
Bo and Marilyn attended Good Shepherd Lutheran Church for 60+ years.
Bo is preceded in death by his wife Marilyn and son Mark.
He leaves his son, Guy (Pat), grandsons, Jason and Ryan, Robin Rigdon, granddaughters, Blaine and Molly, his sister, Joan, niece Sandy (Dennis), and their families in Georgia, nieces Terry Fittro (Bob), Becky Hannaford (Dave), sister-in-law Nancy Robinson, several cousins and many loving friends.
Bo's memorial service will be held on Friday, June 30th at 11:00am.
