
Bill attended Snohomish schools, graduating in 1958. He attended a year of junior college before joining the work force. First at Bickford Motors, then the Snohomish Post Office. In 1967 he then hired on at Scott Paper and retired from Kimberly Clark (Scott Paper) in 2000.
He is survived by wife, Karen; daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Brion Henault and the light of his life, granddaughter, Olivia Henault; son, Adam; son and daughter-in-law, George and Christy McColl, grandson, Anthony and granddaughter, Holly. He is also survived by brother, Ted, with whom he shared his interest in racing cars. Last June, Bill and Ted took "Bill's trip of a lifetime" by going to Daytona, so Bill could ride with a pro around the race track. He is also leaving behind many friends.
The memorial will be at his church, The Bridge Church in Snohomish on Lake Avenue. Services will be on April 14, 2012 at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes any memorials be given to Providence Hospice of Snohomish County, 2731 Wetmore Ave., Everett, WA. They were of great comfort to Bill and the family he leaves behind.
