

Buzz E.C. Scott 79, of Minong, WI passed away October 23, 2013 at St. Mary’s in Duluth, MN. Buzz was born July 30, 1934 in Norwalk, WI to the late Charles & Evelyn Scott. He married Audrey Scott December 22, 1956 they enjoyed 44 years together, she preceded him in death 2000. Buzz served in the Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict followed by the Army Reserve service as a member of the Red Arrow Unit during the Berlin Crisis. He drove truck for Skinners Transfer in Reedsburg, WI. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying duck hunting. Buzzs’ family and friends were very important to him. He was a very proud member of the American Legion VFW Post in Minong, WI. Among those who survive and gratefully shared his life is his special companion Patricia Gudenschwager of Minong, WI; his children Steven (Judy Sonnenberg) Scott, Nancy Cable, Randy “Duke” (Becky) Scott, Toni (Mike) Gudenschwager, Kurt (Heather) Scott, Jeffery (Sherry) Scott, Charles Scott, Thomas (Michelle) Scott, Matthew (Danielle) Scott; brothers Richard (Marilyn) Scott, Robert (Alice) Scott; sister-in-law Jean Deakin and Betty Frank; 14 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren. A celebration of Buzzs’ life will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, October 26, 2013 at the Calvary Lutheran Church in Minong, WI with Pastor Chet Hoversten officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at church. Inurnment will be held in the Wascott Cemetery, WI. Military rites will be provided by the American Legion VFW Post of Minong, WI. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Wounded Warrior Program.
