Carl Dennis Nelson

Carl Nelson.,73., of Bennett went to be with the Lord Saturday, July 27, 2013 at St. Luke’s Medical Center with his wife at his side. Carl was born in Holcombe, WI to Gustave and Ruth Nelson. In 1961 Carl married Georgialice they enjoyed fifty-one years together.

Carl retired after fifteen years of faithful service from International Harvester Company in Libertyville, IL and moved his family back to Wisconsin in 1976.

Carl enjoyed camping, fishing, flea marketing. He was very dedicated to his family.

Those who loved and shared his life are: his wife Georgialice, his seven children: Kim Nelson, Brenda (Chet) Hart, Scott (Sarah) Nelson, Philip (Brenda) Nelson, Trevor Nelson, William Nelson, Amy jo Nelson. Nineteen grandchildren, fourteen Great-grandchildren. Three brothers, Six sisters: He is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother Clarence.

Pallbearers: Aaron, Dustin, Ryan, Jaden, Tristan Nelson, Cody Hart.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Thursday, August 1st, 2013 at the Brown Funeral Home. Pastor Nathan Winterhof will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Bennett cemetery.
