

Cleo was born September 16, 1926 in Menomonie, WI to the late Walter and Blanche (Smith) Seger. Cleo married Kenneth Cox 1946, he preceded her in death 1979. She then married Clifton Brubaker 1987
Cleo spent 20 years traveling as a navy wife with Kenny and her 3 children in Balboa Panama Maryland Florida and Wisconsin enjoying retirement in Northern Wisconsin. Years after Kenny’s death Cleo moved to Port Deposit, Maryland with her 2nd husband Clif where they lived happily for 25 years, They loved car trips seeing the county Cleo was active in their church and spent time with friends socializing and playing cards , Skip o was her favorite.
Cleo belonged to several organizations, the Woman’s Mission Society, she was a Girl Scout Leader, Fleet Reserve (Woman’s Auxiliary, )Willing Workers of Pleasant Valley. She made raggedy Anne dolls and quilts for everyone in her family, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and bird watching. She was very proud to work at the Five Mile Fire Tower, in Northern where she spotted the famous Five Mile Fire Tower Fire of 1977.
Among those who survive and gratefully shared her life are her seven children: Pat (Tom) Williams, Jim (Katina) Cox, Diane Lee (Jim True), Eloise Wiley (Al Morgan), Sylvia (Lenny) Koplen, Wanda (Walt) Meeker, Zora (Arlen) Walker; one sister Lila (Tom) Dean; fifteen grandchildren Arthur, Michael Richard, Robert, Stacie, Nina, Barkme, Michele, Seth, Lisa, Emily, Andy, Rosemary, Paige, Megan; several great grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren “Fluffy” her favorite cat.
Cleo was proceeded in death by her granddaughter Laura and granddaughter Jennifer
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at the Wascott Cemetery in Wascott, WI.
