Janice "Jan" Ann Emblom

Jan was born May 13, 1946 in Minong, WI to Frank and Mary (Henkel) Denninger.

Jan married Jerry Emblom in 1969 in St. Paul, MN, they enjoyed 45 years together.

She bartended for the K I Club in Minong, WI for 15 years. Jan belonged to the America Legion auxiliary and the Calvary Lutheran Church of Minong. She enjoyed playing cards at the senior center, cribbage, reading, gardening, sewing, children, but most of all cooking holiday meals for her family.

Among those who survived and gratefully shared her life are her husband Jerry of Minong, WI; three children Jerry Lee (Christine) Emblom, Jason Emblom, Julie (Lance) Sohn; one daughter-in-law Alisa Ake; seven grandchildren; three brothers Charlie (JoAnne) Denninger, Ron (Karen) Denninger, Lee (Mary) Denninger; one sister Donna Denninger.

She is preceded in death by one son Monty 1972, four brothers David, Clinton, Robert, Richard.

Funeral Service for Jan will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Minong, WI. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Minong.
