

Keith was born July 29, 1931 in Trego, WI to Phillip & Lucy (Pierce) Mack. Keith worked as a baker his entire career, starting in Spooner, WI. He spent 30 years being the head baker at East End Bakery. Followed by working 10 years at the Iron River Bakery. Keith married the love of his life, Phyllis J La Voy, on April 23, 1955 in Superior. Despite a lifelong hearing loss, Keith was an avid country music lover and they enjoyed many nights dancing at various places in Douglas County. He so loved his country life which included his horses. He went on to enjoy his Harley, making it to Sturgis was a goal accomplished. During the winter he enjoyed snowmobiling and was always ready for a good time. Keith was a kind and caring husband, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend witha wonderful sense of humor.
Keith is survived by his wife of almost 59 years, Phyllis; brother Dick (Ruth), Milwaukee; sister Phyllis Swanstrom, Anchorage, AK; sisters-in-law Agnes Smith, Hawthorne, Mary Ann (Tom) Grimsrud, Friendswood, TX, Barb (Dave) Kennison, Rutherfordton, NC, Helen Weber, Mankato, MN and Sharon (Ray) Liske, Livingston, TX. Plus many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents; brothers-in-law Roger Swanstrom, Ernie Weber and Jim Smith.
The family would like to thank the staff at Middle River for their wonderful care & concern for Keith.
Memorial services will be held Friday, March 28th at 11:00 AM at the Brown Funeral Home in Solon Springs, WI with Father Kinney officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home on Friday.
Burial will be held in the spring.
