

Marjorie was born March 3, 1930 in Superior, to the late Ernest and Marge Johnson.
Marjorie married Peter on March 24, 1948 in Bessemer, MI.
Along with her husband, Peter, she owned and operated Botten Brothers Trucking for over 50 years.
She was a member and elder of the South Range and Country Peace Presbyterian Church, as well as a member of the Presbyterian Women’s Organization.
There was always an open door for family and friends to stop and visit around the kitchen table. Baked treats, ice cream, coffee and toast were always available. She spent much of her time caring for others, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was affectionately called Maggie by many close family and friends.
Among those who survive and gratefully shared her life are her sister Janet (Jim) Morrissey, her children Kathy Botten; Gill (Janet) Botten; Sandy (Jim) Jonasen; Donald (Linda) Botten; and Sue (Tim) Correll. Eight grandchildren Angela (Seth) Johnson; Shannon Linderholm; Will (Carrie) Botten; James (Bonnie) Jonasen; Daniel (Katie) Botten; Lisa Botten; Alyssa Correll; and Mackenzie Correll. Nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Marge’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 21st at the Country Presbyterian Church, County Road A, Superior. Pastor Rich Blood and Pastor Duane Aslyn will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 on Thursday at the church.
