Mary Ann Howard

She was born September 15, 1937 in Glidden, WI to the late Edward and Marie (Lenz) Lucas.

Her family moved to Solon Springs at the age of 7. Mary married Russell Howard on July 26, 1958 at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Solon Springs WI. She was an active member of the St. Pius X Church in Solon Springs, WI. She loved gardening, fishing, sp club and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was much loved and will be missed by many. She was the greatest mother, grandmother, sister, and friend ever.

Among those who loved and gratefully shared her life are children Linda Howard of Superior, WI, Greg (Briget) Howard of Ramsey, MN, Brenda (Denny) Stegmann, of Solon Springs, WI, her grandchildren Jason (Shyla) Stegmann, Alison and Mariah Howard, great grandchildren Kendal and Kyle Stegmann, two sisters Darlene (Bud) Flamang of Solon Springs, WI Arlene (John) Kontny Solon Springs, WI.

She is preceded in death by her husband Russell May 29, 1994, and one brother Edward John Lucas December 17, 2009.

A Memorial Mass will be held 12:00 p.m., Saturday, August 18, 2012 at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Solon Springs, WI. Father James Kinney will officiate. Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at church on Saturday. A private family burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Solon Springs, WI.
