

Ted was born February 11, 1948 in Gordon, WI to the late Danny & Violet (Phillips) Welch.
Ted married Nancy Fields on July 19, 1969. They enjoyed 43 wonderful years together.
He served his country honorably in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War earning the Bronze Star with Valar.
Ted owned and operated “Ted’s Repair & Remodeling” he retired in 2007. Ted invented the “Ted’ EZE Fish Bottom Rigs”.
Ted was an active member of the Gordon & Wascott Fire Dept , he gave 22 years of faithful service to his community, and also the America Legion Lockman Jensen Post #499 of Gordon, WI. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing, and golf.
Among those who survive and gratefully shared his life is his wife of 43 years Nancy of Wascott, WI; two daughters Betty (Brian) Ebert of Gordon, WI & Terri Welch (Bill Baures) of Fountain City, WI; three granddaughters Chelcie Ebert of Gordon, WI, Kayla Welch of Gordon, WI, and Bailie Neubauer of Fountain City, WI; and all of his loving brothers and sisters and his best friend “Duke”.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the Gordon Town Hall in Gordon, WI. Rev. Richard Blood will officiate. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday evening, February 8, 2013 at the Brown Funeral Home in Solon Springs, WI. Military Honors will be accorded by the American Legion Lockman Jensen Post #499 of Gordon, WI.
Pall Bearers: Chris Smith, Tom Chandler, Scott Pearson, Mike Volby, Andy Welch, and Jeff Welch.

Ted will always be remembered for his “Laugh”.
