Agnes (Skloda) Cooper

Agnes P. (Skloda) Cooper, 78, of Constantia, passed away Sunday January 26, 2014 at Crouse Hospital. She was born in Solvay to the late Stephen and Anna (Hostinar-Piotrowski) Skloda and lived most her life in Solvay. Agnes worked for Syracuse China, Iroquois China, Pass and Seymour and Nettleton Shoes during her career. She was member of Asbury Methodist Church, an animal lover and was active with the M.S. Society. She was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd in 1980, and a brother, Andrew Skloda.

She is survived by a daughter; Linda (Rick) Temple, 3 sons, Dale (Colleen), Steven (Debbi) and Kevin (Gina) Cooper, a sister, Pauline Pawlicki, 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

In accordance with Aggie’s wishes, private graveside services will be held in the spring in Belle Isle Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
