Mrs. Angela Traino Maira

Angela Maira, 89, of Solvay, passed away Sunday May 1st at Iroquois Nursing Home. Born in Syracuse, she lived in Solvay most of her life. Angela enjoyed baking, cooking, gardening and her many trips to Atlantic City. She was a communicant of St. Cecilia Church and was predeceased by her husband Thomas in 1992.

She is survived by 4 daughters; Betty Stratton, of Syracuse, Lorraine (Thomas) Ryan, of Baldwinsville, Anne (Vic) Zoanetti, of Fairmount and Patricia Depew, of Albany, 4 grandsons; Ronald Stratton, Thomas Ryan, Daniel (Megan) Ryan and Kevin (Lauren) Ryan, 7 great-grandchildren; Amanda, Adrien, Avery, Madalynn, Isabella, Charlize and Grady, 1 brother; John Traino, of NC, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday May 4th at 8:15 am in BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME and 9 am in St. Cecilia Church, where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Syracuse. Calling hours are from 4 to 7 pm Tuesday May 3rd at the funeral home, 2601 Milton Ave.
