

Barbara M. (Wooding) Bandera, 87, of Lakeland, passed away peacefully with her family by her side Monday, July 7, 2014 in Florida. She was born in Cicero to the late Francis and Rose (Zinsmeyer) Wooding. Barbara worked as a waitress for over 40 years, retiring from John’s Restaurant. She worked most notably at Little Gem Diner, where she was fondly known as “B.B.” She loved cruising, playing cards, bingo, and was an avid bowler. Barbara also enjoyed wintering in Florida with her husband. She was predeceased by her husband, Valentino Bandera in 2001, her son Thomas Carroll in 2004, daughter Joylee Coleman in 2012, 2 sisters, and 3 brothers.
She is survived by 2 sons; Robert (Pat) Carroll, of Fayetteville and Christopher (Patty) Bandera, of Lakeland, a daughter, Starlene (Frank) Cook, of Solvay, 9 grandchildren; Shannon, Frankie, Josh, Jason, Justin, Conor, Jordan, Alexis and Lauren, 3 great-grandchildren; Riley, Aidan and Aria, and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 6 pm at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Ave., with a memorial service to follow at 6 pm.
