Bruno D. Leonardi, 86, of Camillus, passed away Monday May 16th at Van Duyn Home and Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Solvay, he was a US Army Veteran of World War II. Bruno was owner and operator of the Syracuse Bowlers Pro Shop for many years before retiring. He was a member of the Stanley B. Pennock VFW Post #2893 and a communicant of Holy Family Church.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, the former Louise Castellini, 2 daughters; Barbara (David) Crawford, of Spafford and Brenda (Tom) Abele, of Rochester, 5 grandchildren; Shane, Colin and Corey Crawford, Chad and Todd Daignault, a sister; Josephine (Joseph) Gryga, of Solvay, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday May 20th at 9:45 am in BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME and 10:30 am in Holy Family Church, where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated. Burial will be in the Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Syracuse. Calling hours are from 4 to 7 pm Thursday May 19th at the funeral home, 2601 Milton Ave, Solvay.
