Carol J. (Hodge) Persse, 74, of Solvay, passed away Saturday May 3, 2014 at Loretto. She was born in Syracuse to the late Elvin and Myrtle (Gross) Hodge. Carol retired in 2004 from Denny’s in Westvale, where she worked as a waitress for 28 years. She is predeceased by a brother, Elvin “Bud” Hodge and a sister, Jean Hinman.
Surviving are her 2 sons, Jeffrey, of Florida and Jamie (Karen) Persse, of Hastings; 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 2 nieces, great-nieces and 2 special friends, Patricia Dix and Heidi Plumb.
