Dorothy (Haney) DelPrato

Dorothy (Haney) DelPrato, 84, of Solvay, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015 at home. She was born in Syracuse to the late Robert and Anna (Orzzell) Haney in 1930. She was a 1948 graduate of Solvay High School. Dorothy was a homemaker, communicant of St. Cecilia’s Church and member of its Altar and Rosary Society.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Alfred, 3 daughters, Ellen (Glenn) Neill, of Apopka, FL, Joan (James) Kloiber, of Lakeland and Joyce (Basil) Ariglio, of Rome, 3 sons, Charles (Mary Ellen), of Lakeland, James (Maria), of Lakeland and Alfred Jr. (Merlyn), of Lynn Haven, FL, 10 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 am Saturday, January 17, 2015 in St. Cecilia’s Church, 1001 Woods Rd. There are no calling hours. Private burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
