Edith (Papaleoni) Werbeck

Edith (Papaleoni) Werbeck, 97, of Solvay, passed away Monday December 9, 2013 at St. Camillus Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Solvay to the late Severino and Marie (Cadonna) Papaleoni. Edith was a member of the Solvay Tyrol Club Auxiliary, the Moose Club and was a longtime Avon Lady. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank in 1995, son, Frank, Jr. in 1998 and great grandson JJ Winguay in 2009.

She is survived by 5 daughters; Phyllis Militi, of Camillus, Eloise Rocco, of Baldwinsville, Eileen Barnes, of CA, Lorraine (Sid) Hoover, of Homer and Therese Werbeck, of Camillus, 3 sons; Edward (Michele), of CA, Walter (Laurie), of Clay and John, of Erieville, 2 sisters; Alyce Kin, of CA and Irene Benedetti, of Camillus, 30 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 8:15 am in BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, and 9 am in St. Cecilia Church, where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners.

Calling hours are Friday from 4 to 7 pm at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Ave.
