Emily (Togni) Antonuccio

Emily (Togni) Antonuccio, 76, of Syracuse, passed away at home Friday, September 2nd after a long illness surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Syracuse to the late Adelio and Alice (Balduzzi) Togni.

Emily was a graduate of Solvay High School and was employed by Solvay Bank as the Assistant Vice President of Consumer Lending for over 27 years before retiring in 2007.

Emily was an active member in the community where she served as past President of the Solvay Tyrol Club Ladies Auxiliary, past Board of Directors for St. Camillus and an active member of the Solvay-Geddes-Camillus Kiwanis Club. Emily was a lifelong member of St. Cecilia’s Roman Catholic Church.

Emily is survived by her husband of 52 years, Joseph, one son, Joseph (Caroline) Antonuccio, of Syracuse and one daughter, Lisa (Jeffrey) White, of Syracuse and two grandsons, her pride and joy, Austin and Nicholas White. She also leaves behind a brother, James (Judy) Togni, of Syracuse and a sister-in-law, Rita Whalen, of Syracuse as well as numerous loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 8:45 am Tuesday, September 6, 2016 in BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME and 9:30 am in St. Cecilia's Church, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse. Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 pm Monday, September 5, 2016 at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Ave., Solvay.

Contributions may be made in her memory to Solvay-Geddes-Camillus Kiwanis Club where a scholarship will be set up in her name, c/o Lisa Mono, 119 Charles Ave., Solvay, NY 13209 or Hospice of CNY, 990 Seventh North St, Liverpool, NY 13088. The family wishes to thank all of those doctors, nurses and aides who cared for her during her illnesses.
