Mrs. Jocelyn J. Sauro

Jocelyn J. Sauro, 86, of Syracuse, passed away Wednesday at Elderwood Health Care at Birchwood. Born in Newport, NH, she married in 1945 and moved to Syracuse in 1946. Jocelyn was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Warren in January 2011, and a brother, James B. Collins.

She is survived by 2 sons; Jim (Carolyn) Sauro, of Onondaga Hill and Michael (Heidi) Sauro, of Austin, TX, 3 grandchildren; Erin Shuley, Kara Hawkins and Shawn Sauro, 3 great-grandchildren, 1 sister; Martha DiNapoli, of Boston, MA, 2 brothers; Francis Collins, of Newport, NH and Jason Collins, of FL, 1 sister-in-law; Dorothy Collins, of Newport, NH and many nieces and nephews.

Services were private. There are no calling hours. BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, Solvay, has care of arrangements.
