Margaret Scofield

Margaret (Cianfrocca) Scofield, 86, of Westvale, passed away Monday, May 2nd at home. She was born in Solvay to the late Angelo and Angeline (De-Lia) Cianfrocca in 1929. She was employed as a supervisor in the pay-by-phone department of Syracuse Savings Bank for over 20 years before retiring in 1991. Margaret was a past president of both the Edwards Employees Association and Syracuse Savings Bank Employees Association and member of the Red Hat Ladies Club of Camillus. She was predeceased by her husband George in 1995, great-granddaughter, Kiera Nicolotti, step-father, Frank Sardaneri and son-in-law, Jerry Jones.

She is survived by 2 daughters; Sandra Jean (Chester) Smith, of Westvale and Diana Lynn Jones, of Broken Arrow, OK, 4 grandchildren; Jessica (Chad) Morrison, of Lewis Center, OH, Jennifer (Michael) Nicolotti, of Jenks, OK, Jerry M. Jones, Jr., of Broken Arrow, OK and Brenda (Geoffrey) Goff, of E. Syracuse, 10 great-grandchildren; Evan, Micah, Eden, Riley, Karsten, Kellan, Peter, Geoffrey, Jr., Matthew and Marc, step-brother; Joseph Sardaneri, step-sister; Frances Klodzen and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 am Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at St. Cecilia Church, Solvay. Private burial will be with her husband in Fort Gibson National Cemetery, Fort Gibson, OK.
