Mary Jane Piro

Mary Jane Piro, 86, of Solvay, passed away Thursday at Loretto. Born in Ira, she graduated from Crouse Irving School of Nursing and was employed as a nurse by Allied Chemical for many years before retiring. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond “Tuffy” in 1999.

Surviving are 2 daughters; Kathy Viggiano, of Solvay and Maria (James) DelPrato, of Lakeland, 4 grandchildren; Nikki (Dean) DePasquale, Ray Viggiano, Victoria and Paul DelPrato, 3 great-grandsons; Dean, Nicolas and Anthony, and many nieces and nephews.

Private services and burial were held in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Lakeland. There were no calling hours. BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, Solvay, has care of arrangements. Condolences may be offered at www.bagozzitwins.com.
