Michael Raymond Romano Jr.

Michael R. Romano, Jr., 83, of Solvay, passed away July 28th at home. He was born in Syracuse to the late Michael and Elizabeth Romano. He was a US Army Veteran and member of the Geddes Veterans Association, Solvay Tigers AC and CYC. He worked as a plumber for several years before working for General Electric as a sheet metal leader for 30 years, retiring in 1990. He was predeceased by his wife Arlene (Nistico) in 1983, grandson Jerrell Welch and sister Tess (Roger) Cassell.

He is survived by 2 daughters; Sherri Welch, of Camillus and Missy Romano, of Syracuse, son; Michael, of Marcellus, 2 grandchildren; Justin Welch and Olivia Romano, brothers; John (Sandy), Frank (Ann) and Tony, sister; Julie (Steve) and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call Saturday from 12 pm-2:30 pm with memorial services immediately following at 2:30 pm at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Avenue.
