Peter A. Lauzon Sr.

Peter A. Lauzon, Sr., 76, of Solvay, passed away peacefully Wednesday at home. He was born in Syracuse and raised in Belle Isle. Peter was a retired teamster and devoted family man, who will be remembered most as a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Peter is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, the former Harriet Monroe, their 8 children; Peter (Margo) Lauzon, Jr., of Navarino, Deborah E. Hill, of Oswego, Michael J. Lauzon, of Phoenix, Suzette A. (Tim) Wiegand, of Solvay, Raymond J. (Kimberly) Monroe, of Conway, SC, Richard J. (Marlene) Monroe, of Liverpool, Rick J. (Kimberly) Monroe, of Solvay and Robert Lauzon, of Solvay, 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A calling hour will be Friday from 5 to 6 pm at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Ave.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, West Congregation, 1900 W. Fayette St., Syracuse, NY 13204.
