Robert Bob Thomas Facey

Robert T. “Bob” Facey, formerly of Syracuse, passed away November 2nd at the age of 83, in Alabama. He was born in New York City, where he met his wife of 63 years, Dorothy Ann Facey. From there he moved to Syracuse, NY to work for Carrier Corporation. He retired June 1, 1994, two years later, he and his wife retired to Lillian, AL. He was proud Veteran, serving with the US Marine Corp.

Bob loved traveling and camping, spending many years traveling with the “Travel-Masters Travel Club, Inc.” He was predeceased by his parents, Ethel and Thomas Facey, two children, Kevin and Kenneth Facey, and two grandchildren, Jennifer and Shawn Timmons.

Bob is survived by his loving family; wife, Dorothy, son, Thomas R. (Mary) Facey, two daughters, Janice Ann (Mike) Timmons and Lynn Beth (Mark) Nesfeder, sisters-in-law, Rosemary Freedman and Betty Fanelli, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

There are no calling hours. A private celebration of his life was held Saturday November 21, 2015. Burial was in Belle Isle Cemetery.
