Vincenta (Jover) Luis-Montreal, 86, of Solvay, passed away Saturday at Loretto. She was born in Solvay to Manuel and Vincenta (Miguel) Jover on September 26, 1924. She was employed as an assembler at Pass and Seymour for over 45 years before retiring. She was a member of the Solvay-Geddes Vet’s Auxiliary, Solvay Tigers Auxiliary, a communicant of St Cecilia’s Church and member of its Altar and Rosary Society. She was predeceased by her husband Anthony in 1970 and sisters Louise Minekheim and Julia Spanish.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law; John and Christine Luis, of Baldwinsville, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 8:45 am Thursday in BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME and 9:30 am in St. Cecilia’s Church, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse. Calling hours are from 4 to 7 pm Wednesday at the funeral home, 2601 Milton Ave.
