

Bruce Henderson, age 77, of Swansea, formerly of Somerset, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River after a brief illness. He was the husband of Marilyn S. (Thurston) Henderson, to whom he had been married for 54 years.
Born and raised in Attleboro, he was a graduate of Attleboro High School. Bruce honorably served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. After his military service, Bruce had a successful career as a Warehouse Manager for Supply New England in Attleboro, where he worked for over 30 years before retiring.
In his leisure time, Bruce was an avid sports fan, passionately cheering on the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. He and his wife also loved their annual trips Aruba. However, nothing brought him more happiness than the time he spent with his family, especially his cherished grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his wife, Bruce is survived by his two children, Kelly Rowe and her husband Jeff of Somerset, and Eric Henderson of Fall River; six grandchildren Kyle and Chase Pelletier, Cameron and Shane Henderson-Mello, Hailey and Damon Henderson and many nieces and nephews.
Bruce was the son of the late Albert and Margaret (Baumgartel) Henderson and was the brother of the late Roy, Albert and Earl "Nuch" Henderson.
His Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 from 10am to 12pm in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Rose E. Sullivan 866 County St., Somerset, followed by his Burial with Military Honors in Nathan Slade Cemetery in Somerset.
