

Carl R. Correia, age 51, of Somerset, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, October 1, 2017 at his residence. He was the husband of Jane M. (Sousa) Correia to whom he has been married for the past thirty years.
Born in Fall River, a son of the late Richard and Shirley (Camara) Correia, he had been a lifelong resident of Somerset.
He was a graduate of Somerset High School, Class of 1984. Carl recently started working at EMCOR, Group Inc. in Cranston and prior to that, he worked in the maintenance department at Shawomet Gardens in Somerset for over twenty years.
An avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan, he loved hunting and fishing.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Courtney Correia and Casey Correia; one granddaughter, Cali Desrosiers all of Somerset; one sister Debra Zawadski and her husband Scott of Midlothian, VA; sister-in-law, Bonnie Quattrucci and her husband Steve of Somerset; brother-in-law, Leonard Sousa, Jr. of Fall River and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Mark Correia and grandson of the late Michael and Elvira Camara and Charles and Evelyn Correia.
His Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00PM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Rose E. Sullivan, 866 County Street. Somerset. Relatives and friends invited.
