Codi Lynn Simoes

April 19, 1987March 29, 2019

Codi Lynn Simoes, 31, of Westport passed away on March 29, 2019. While her death was unexpected, Codi suffered from a drug addiction and for years we feared her addiction would claim her life. She was the beloved daughter of Ron and Lynn (Lemar) Simoes. She was the mother of Olivia Lynn Simoes, whom she adored. In addition to her daughter and parents, she is survived by her sister, Jill Roy and her companion Andrew Vieira; two brothers, Shane Simoes and his companion Amy Tardiff and Dylan Simoes; nephews, Logan Simoes and Beckett Vieira; paternal grandmother, Genevieve (Bettencourt) Simoes. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Our hearts are heavy as the future will no longer have her with us to enjoy her love and the fun loving person she was. We miss her dearly. Private services are in the care of the Waring-Sullivan Home at Rose E. Sullivan, 866 County St., Somerset. Contributions in her honor may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

My memory is of Codi at the Westport Middle School. She was filled with spirit and lots of spunk. I spent many days with Codi and her friends when school wasn't always the priority. I will never forget her smile and her personality.
Your life was too short but I pray your pain has ended. Never forgotten :(
