Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Daniel M. Pettey, Sr. and Muriel (Russell) Pettey. Daniel worked as a Welding Supervisor at Chicago Bridge & Iron for many years.
He is survived by one brother, Mitchell S. Pettey and his wife Suzanne; one sister, Jane Nunes, all of Westport, as well as several nieces and nephews. Daniel was the father of the late Ashley Pettey and brother of the late Donna Gamache.
His Funeral Services will be private.
