Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late John D. and Dorothy (Fielden) Connell. Dorothy graduated from House in the Pines in Norton and went on to become a Dental Assistant for 20 years, retiring in 1990.
She was a member of the Quequechan Club and enjoyed photography, traveling and taking incredible care of her cats and dogs.
She is survived by her stepdaughter, Pamela Sousa of Weymouth; one cousin, Steven Fadden of Swansea, as well as many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was the sister of the late J. David Connell and the cousin of the late Patricia Fadden.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 10:00AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Rose E. Sullivan, 866 County St., Somerset. Relatives and friends invited. Visitation will be held prior to her service from 9:00AM-10:00AM. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
