

Eleanor (Webb) Lindquist, of Sarasota, FL passed away peacefully in Hospice Care in Sarasota, Florida on June 5, 2026. Eleanor was devoted to her family. Her warmth, humor, and unwavering commitment to others left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
The daughter of the late William Webb and Mary Carey Webb was born on November 19, 1936, and grew up in Fall River, Massachusetts before moving to Sarasota, Florida in 1980. A graduate of BMC Durfee High School and University of Massachusetts Lowell, Eleanor built her life on the foundations of education, family and generosity. Her warmth was genuine, her humor was infectious, and she will be deeply missed.
Eleanor was a devoted Music Teacher at her Alma mater BMC Durfee High School and was deeply involved with The Little Theater of Fall River and the Fall River Country Club before moving to Sarasota. She was an incredibly talented singer and performer.
Above all, Eleanor loved her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Frederick Lindquist and mother to the late Kathleen Worthington (husband Rick Worthington) and the late Karin King (husband Brian King). She was the sister of the late James Webb and the late Kathleen (Webb) Newton. Now reunited, they are home together again.
She is survived by her grandchildren Jon Lindquist of Winston-Salem, NC, Michael Lindquist of Portland, OR, Brian King of Sarasota, FL, Katie King of Boca Raton, FL and great grandson Brian King of Boca Raton, FL. She is further survived by her brother, William Webb of Somerset, MA and brother and sister-in-law James and Judith (Webb) Newton of Somerset, MA. She is also survived and cherished by many nieces, nephews and friends.
