Peg, Loren & Sean, We are deeply saddened with the passing of your wonderful child Erik. He & my son were close friends in grade school. Although it was several decades ago, I have vivid memories of them playing happily in my family room. One of my favorites is when the pretended to be Navy Sailors in a submarine. I would hear Awooga Awooga ! How sweet the sound. They grew up so fast into fine young Men. This is what I am greatful for & hang on to in Life. So sorry for your loss, Sincere Sympathies, Kevin & Cheryl Cordeiro

Erik would quite literally give someone the shirt off his own back if they needed it. We were very close in law school. In fact, I wouldn't have made it through without his companionship and trusted friendship. We kept in touch over the years. We were planning a hike and then dinner to catch up after Easter. I wish I hadn't asked for a raincheck when he reached out the weekend before.
He was a cheerleader and support for me in everything I did. He was insanely smart and we loved to debate issues - even though we agreed on most things - just to mentally challenge each other. And maybe sometimes just to annoy each other because we could. He loved Ivy, his daughter, his parents, and his clients. He worked far too hard. He was a giant teddy bear of a person. I loved him and I didn't tell him enough. I'm glad that his final post was a positive one. He's gone far too soon. Sending my love and prayers to his family and friends.

We had the privilege of working with Erik for eight years. The memories we shared, professionally and personally, could fill volumes. Erik genuinely cared for his clients and brought exceptional intelligence and compassion to his profession. Please know how much Erik was loved by everyone at Cornerstone Law Group and how deeply we mourn his passing.
