Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Manuel and Fannie (Enos) Arruda, she was a lifelong area resident. She was a communicant of St. George’s Church in Westport. She loved spending time with her family and her dog Honey.
She is survived by her daughter Patricia A. Rooney and her husband Steven D. of Swansea, two grandchildren Melissa A. and Christopher J. King both of Swansea, two sisters Barbara Perry of So. Dartmouth, and Patricia DeMello of Dartmouth.
Private arrangements are in the care of the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at BIRCHCREST 189 Gardner’s Neck Road, Swansea.
