Frank A. D'Amato

Frank A. D’Amato, age 68, of Somerset, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Paulette J. (Dion) D’Amato to whom he had been married for 34 years.

Born in Ellwood, PA, the son of the late Frank and Theresa (Roschella) Damato, he was a graduate of Glendale High School in California. Frank was employed as a truck driver for over 40 years and later worked security/Mobile Health Van driver for Charlton Memorial Hospital for 12 years. Frank also enjoyed traveling with his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters: Michele Provost and her husband Brian of Norwich, NY and Veronica “Lynn” Burt and her husband John of Coshocton, OH; two sisters Renee Constantine of Palmdale, CA and Denise Zorich of Kokomo, IN: a brother Nick Damato of Anaheim Hills, CA; three grandsons Mason Provost, Jacob Provost and Mike Burt and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Mary Ann Barnett.

His Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 14, 2015 at 10AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Rose E. Sullivan 866 County St., Somerset. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 4 to 7PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in his honor may be made to Southcoast VNA & Hospice 200 Mill Rd., Fairhaven, MA 02719.
