Growing up mainly in Randolph, she cared deeply for her dad, joining him in a few ventures including the food business, a t-shirt shop, a florist shop, and a gift shop. She also worked in the healthcare industry which was perfect for her compassionate, helping way - she always thought of everyone.

Jill always had and loved dogs, including her current pup, Rocky. Her family was very important to her; she never missed a birthday call, always giving, organizing family gatherings and cooking up a feast! Her etiquette was impeccable; she would send a card, food baskets, or some treat as a thank you for even the smallest task.

Jill had an amazing voice and enjoyed time in a band as a young adult. If you wanted to borrow a book, she had many to offer as it showed in her bookcase. The simple joy of a ride in the car was something she looked forward to. Her talents were many, she could make a paper bag a beautiful centerpiece! Her cheesecake was delicious, you had to patiently wait hours for it to be ready.

Jill leaves behind her husband of 42 years, Tom; one brother, Neil Cohen; one sister, Ellen McKenzie and husband Arthur "Tim"; she was Auntie to their daughters, Alexis and Jordan who thought the world of her; brother-in-law Gary and his wife Genny along with their children, Kate and Joe Garvey as well as many cousins and dear, close friends, as one put it "she brought the light, love, and humor". To say the least XXOO. Jill was the sister of the late Harris Cohen.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at 10:00 AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Rose. E. Sullivan, 866 County St., Somerset. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jill's honor may be made to Forever Paws Animal Shelter, 300 Lynwood St., Fall River, MA 02721. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
