Linda M. Nahas

Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Joseph and Edith (Severance) Vital, Linda was a graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School. She worked at the Harvard University book depository for 15 years.

Linda’s giving and free spirit were reflected in her hobbies and relationships. Quilting with friends brought her joy, resulting in many beautiful quilts for her family. Summer days were spent at the beach or picking blueberries in her dear neighbor’s blueberry patch. On weekends, she could often be found shopping, dancing, or having breakfast with friends. She enjoyed travelling and was always up for adventure. While her children were in high school, she was a member of the Friends of the Cardinals and the Case High Drama Boosters, where she formed life-long friendships. Later, she participated in the youth mentorship program, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Providence. In addition, Linda was an avid Patriots fan and loved live theater.

She is survived by three children, Jennifer Morin and her husband Matthew, Ryan Nahas and his wife Sharon, all of Swansea and Jason Nahas and his wife Julie of Somerset; four grandchildren, Maxwell Morin, Julia Parent and her husband Devin, William Morin and William Nahas; one great-granddaughter, Cecilia Parent; two sisters, Sharon Marchand of Somerset and Marybeth Kendrick and her husband Curtis of NY; three brothers, Gary Vital and his late wife Paula of Tiverton, Joseph Souza and his wife Hattie of CA, Robert Vital and his wife Mary of Bristol, many nieces and nephews as well as Linda’s beloved dog, Zoe.

Her Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Rose E. Sullivan, 866 County St., Somerset, followed by a service in the funeral home at 12:30 PM. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Linda’s honor may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation, Attn: Donor Services, P.O. Box 61420 Staten Island, NY 10306 or to the Scleroderma Foundation, P.O.
