Marilyn Park

Marilyn (Fournier) Park, age 79 of Somerset, passed away peacefully, comforted by her family Sunday, December 22, 2019 in Country Gardens Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Donald K. Park.

Born in Fall River, MA a daughter of the late Saluste E. and Loretta (Brown) Fournier, she was a longtime Somerset resident.

A quiet woman who like to be at home with her family she enjoyed watching her grandsons fish and the Pawtucket Red Sox. She was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church in Somerset.

She is survived by two sons, Shawn Park and his wife Debra of Somerset and Patrick Park and his wife Marnie of San Pablo, CA; one sister, Claire Levesque, three grandsons, Jeremy Park, Jonathan Park and Joshua Park; three granddaughters, Kellie Park, Katie Park and Jessica Park; and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Timothy Park and Kellie Park.

Her Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at 9:00 AM from the Waring-Sullivan Home at Rose E. Sullivan, 866 County Street, Somerset followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Patrick’s Church, 306 South Street, Somerset. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Somerset. I am going to miss you so much. We had a lot of good times going for long rides also our Plymouth trips watching the boats while we eat. Our walks along the Taunton River and a lot of shopping my best friend besides being my Aunt.
Marylin was the daughter of the late Saluste Fournier and Loretta Brown Fournier and sister to the late Loretta Souza and late ,5 brothers Thomas , Joseph, William Andrew and Donald Fournier (Our thing nanas baby well I watched over you for her now you and her have to watch over me. Love You so much till we are together again, save a place for me.
