I worked with Mary at BCC for many years and have missed her as a colleague since her retirement. She was a fine teacher, woman and friend. I hope she enjoyed both her retirement and her family and I wish her--and them--peace.

Mary was a compassionate soul, a talented and spirited woman....her spirituality formed the core of her personality and her Irish wit and wisdom could light up a room. She left little doubt of her belief in the afterlife and so it's hoped she now basks in the glow & glory of a better life with those she missed.....

Mrs. Botelho was my accounting teacher at BCC back in the early 1980's. I remember her warm smile, her wonderful laugh, and positive attitude; I don't balance my checkbook without thinking of her even now. She was a wonderful teacher, and my sympathy goes out to her family at this sad time.
