Born in Somerset, son of the late Dimian and Anelia (Moskok) Paskowski, he was educated in local schools and was United States Army Veteran serving during World War II.
Stephen was employed as a Laborer and Line Painter for the Massachusetts Department of Public Works for twenty eight years. He enjoyed spending time in his garden and carpentry.
Surviving in addition to his wife are six children, Linda Paquette and her husband Michael of Fall River, Stephen A. Paskowski Jr. and wife Lisa of Somerset, Kathleen Corriea and her husband Michael of Somerset, Brian Paskowski and his fiancé Mary of Taunton, Mary Lima and her husband Ronald of Somerset, and Thomas Paskowski and his fiancé Kristen of Cumberland RI., seven grandchildren Sarah Paquette, Katelyn Rochefort, Amanda Paskowski, Eli Snell, Michael Corriea Jr., Ronald Lima III and Hannah Lima, two great grandchildren Colin Paquette and Olivia Snell, brother Peter Paskowski of Somerset, sister Helen Paskowski of Somerset and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Antone, John, Michael, Nicholas Paskowski, Annie Couto, Mary Malone and John Olinik.
His funeral will take place on Wed. May 27, 2015 at 9AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT ROSE E. SULLIVAN 866 County St. Somerset followed by a funeral mass at 10AM in St. Patrick’s Church 306 South St. Somerset. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery in Somerset. Calling hours Tues. 5-7PM.
