I was one of the many students who passed through Mr. Barrar's classroom. He was a wonderful teacher, one who made learning a delight, no easy task with teens! I remember his civics class and daily find myself wishing more people had sat in his classroom and learned about our wonderful Constitution. He will be remembered by each student who life he touched. I am lucky to be one of them.

Bill Barrar was a teacher, colleague, wonderful father, loving husband and an amazing human being. The students who were lucky enough to have him touch their lives will long remember what an asset he was to the Somerset School System . It has been a very long time since I left Somerset but the memories are still very clear. Bill Barrar touched and influenced the lives of so many. Thoughts and prayers to Claire and the entire Barrar family

Mr. Barrar was my neighbor and my guidance counselor at SHS...a lovely man who once told my mother I would marry a minister one day. He got it pretty close...I did meet my husband while getting my MA at seminary! To all of his familly and friends, I will be thinking and praying for you all at this difficult time.
