Delma Ruth Worley

DELMA RUTH WORLEY Delma Ruth Worley, 84, of Beckley, formerly of Coal City, passed away May 19, 2014 following a short illness. She was born in Blue Jay, WV and was a longtime member of the Maynor Freewill Baptist Church. She is the daughter of the late John Henry Jackson Hatcher and Rosie (Smith) Hatcher. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred E. Worley; her daughter, Linda W. Taylor; and brothers, John Hatcher, David Hatcher, Carl Hatcher, Robert Hatcher, and William Hatcher. She will be sadly missed by her son, Kenneth Worley and wife, Karen of Gahanna, OH; her grandson, David Worley and wife, Debbie and their two children, Hannah and Mason of Gahanna, OH; her son-in-law, Charles Taylor of Pinch, WV and her friend, Carol Horton. The family would also like to thank all of her many friends that helped her. Funeral Services will be held 11:00AM Friday, May 23, 2014 at Williams-Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Sophia with Pastor Jim Bowyer officiating. Following the services Delma will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband at the Thompson Cemetery, Coal City.
