Eva Marie Buckle

Eva loved shopping, traveling, cooking, spending time with friends. She loved coming home to moms cooking on Thanksgiving and Christmas. She was a graduate of Sophia High School. Eva was employed with Beckley Hospital, also worked for West Morland Coal Company, worked in High Point NC in the furniture industry as a designer. She proudly served with the United States Army.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Lois Shrewsbury and husband Kenneth of Grandview; brother, John Crump and wife, Priscilla of Sophia; nephew, Tom Hopkins and wife, Katie of Bradley; niece, Susan Pollastrini of Beckley; nephew, John Crump, Jr. of Epperly; nieces, Ashley Beaulieu of Sophia and Kaitlyn Crump of Sophia; Eva’s beloved dog, Celia Louise, whom she loved dearly.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Williams Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Sophia with Pastor Jesse Farley officiating. Burial will follow at Slab Fork Cemetery.

Friends may gather with the family Wednesday from 12 - 2 at the funeral home.
