Jessie Faye Sargent

SARGENT, Jessie Faye, age 72, of Rhodell, went home to be with the Lord on October 26, 2014 in Beckley. She was born on September 16, 1942, in Ury, the daughter of the late Willard and Mildred Lester. Faye was a graduate of Mark Twain High School. She worked as an EMT and was a member of the Sophia Volunteer Fire Department. Faye was of the Baptist faith and attended the Rhodell Church of God. In her spare time, she enjoyed doing puzzles, crocheting, playing games on her computer and assisting with the election polls. Faye was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Clifford Sargent; her son, Wesley Dewayne Sargent; and her brother, Paul Lester. Those left to cherish her memory are her devoted sons, Allen Sargent and wife Dee of Beaver, Eugene Sargent and wife Sheila of Rhodell, Tracy Sargent and wife Carla of Sophia, & Ralph Sargent of Rhodell; her loving grandchildren, Christi, Cecil (wife, Jessica), Michael, Norman, Alicia (husband, JohnBoy Smith), Bill, Manny, Tyler and Ashton; her dear great grandchildren, Mason, Evan, Isabella and Landon; and her caring brother, Wesley Lester of Surveyor. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 31, 2014, at 1:00pm at Williams-Blue Ridge Funeral Home, 101 1st Street, Sophia, with Pastor Gary Eskins officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley Pallbearers will be Allen, Tracy, Cecil, Michael, Norman, and Bill . Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2014 from 6-9pm at Williams-Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Sophia.
