Kathalee Francis Massey

Born March 14, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Beulah Lilly Wills.

Kathalee loved being with family, especially around Christmas. She was employed as a cook for Shoney's.

In addition to her parents, Kathalee is preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Emery Vincent Massey; a brother, Arlie Wills; a sister, Peggy Joe Blair.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Beulah Kipps and husband, Charles of Coal City; a son, William Joseph (Billy Joe) Bolen of Princewick; a daughter, Vivian Lilly and husband, James of Cool Ridge; a son, Emery Leon Massey and wife, Jeana of Coal City; a daughter, Cathy Jones of North Myrtle Beach; sisters, Fairy Jane Schwartz of West Palm Beach, Fla. and Shirley Jean Hayden of New Kensington, Pa.; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014, at Williams Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Sophia, with the Revs. Bill Reed and Ernie Watkins officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
