LORENIA CAMPBELL Lorenia Campbell, 82, of Midway, WV went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 31, 2015. Born March 10, 1932 at River, KY she was the daughter of the late Victor and Olga Vanhoose Preston. Lorenia loved working in her yard; she was a member of the Bethel Freewill Baptist Church where she loved working with the youth. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter P. Campbell; brother, William Preston; and son-in-law, Dorman Brown. Those left to cherish her memory include her two sisters, Myrtle Elswick of Troutman, NC and Geneva Snyder and husband, Tom of Delaware, OH; her daughter, Vickie Brown of Midway, WV; son, Danny Campbell and wife, Dawn of Midway, WV; three grandchildren, Stephanie Carpenter and husband, Shawn of Sophia, WV, Danny Campbell, Jr of Coal City, WV, and Kellie Shrewsbury and husband, Ryan of Beckley, WV; 6 great-grandchildren, Zack, Aaron, Abby, Leigha, Braxton, and Blake. Services to celebrate the life of Lorenia Campbell will be held 1:00PM Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Williams-Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Sophia, WV with Pastor Bill Calhoun officiating, Sherry and Ronnie McKinney will be singing. Following the services she will be laid to rest beside her husband at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley.
