Ms. Martha Lucille Harold

Martha L. Harold, 88 years old, left the world on August 16, 2014 to be with our Lord. She was a long time resident of Abney, WV and a member of the Cales Chapel Church in Coal City. She died at her sister’s home in Sheffield Lake, Ohio following an extended illness.

She came into this world in Leckie, WV the daughter of the late Lilburn and Polly Johnson Osborne. She grew up in a large loving family and was well read and self educated. She loved crocheting, knitting and making bread. She enjoyed her life and her family.

Those left to cherish her memory include her four brothers, Howard Osborne and wife, Elizabeth, Homer Osborne, Wayne Osborne and wife, Sarah all of California and Lillard Osborne of Abney, WV; two sisters, Della Phillips of Abney, WV and Joyce Stanley of Sheffield Lake, OH.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, Avery Warren; brothers, Kenneth and J.C Osborne; and a sister, Janice Martin.

Services to celebrate the life of Martha L. Harold will be held 2:00PM Saturday, August 23, 2014 at the Cales Chapel Church, Coal City with Pastor Dennis Haga officiating. Following the services Martha will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park, Beckley beside her beloved husband, Warren.

Friends may gather with the family from 1:00PM until time of the service Saturday at the church.

The family would like to extend a thank you to everyone for your kindness and prayers during this very difficult time. She will be greatly missed.
