

Adelaide “Adeline” (Rose) Aguiar, age 83 of North Dartmouth passed away Wednesday, December 07, 2022 after her long term battle with dementia at Care One New Bedford. She was the widow of the late Joseph Aguiar.
Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late George and Hilda (Prudencio) Rose. She lived most of her life in Dartmouth. Mrs. Aguiar was formerly employed as an office worker and a cashier until her retirement at age 62.
She loved classic cars and enjoyed the nightly car cruises with the many good friends she made through the years, but most of all she loved driving her 1957 red Chevy Belair convertible and her red 1979 Trans-Am.
Mrs. Aguiar leaves behind her three sons, Joseph Aguiar and his partner Gladys Ellis of Dartmouth, Steven Aguiar of New Bedford, David Aguiar and his wife Lois Aguiar of New Bedford. Her grandchildren; Wendy Aguiar, Joseph Aguiar, Eugene Ellis, Samantha (Aguiar)Racine and her husband Matthew Racine, Patrick Aguiar, Nathan Aguiar, Matthew Aguiar, Alyson (Aguiar) Goncalves and her husband Jimmy Goncalves and Kevin Aguiar. Her great grandchildren; Drew Goncalves and Connor Goncalves. Her brother George Rose and his wife Mickey Rose of Richland, WA. She was predeceased by her sister, Shirley Rose.
Her funeral service will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022 at 10:00AM in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME at DARTMOUTH 230 Russells Mills Rd., Dartmouth, MA 02748. Relatives and friends are invited.
