

Born in West Point, New York, son of Aldo E. Giannelli and the late Thelma Jeanine (Gallant) Giannelli. Since his father was in the military, Edward travelled the world with his parents. He lived in Middleboro and Wareham for several years before moving to Dartmouth 39 years ago.
He was a proud United States Air Force Veteran, attaining the rank of Sergeant, serving in Germany on the flight line.
Edward had a successful career as a Master Electrician and held his Master's license in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut. He worked for Interstate Electric until retiring in 2010.
Edward had a great interest in trains, planes and anything electrical. He enjoyed reading, especially his favorite newspaper The New York Post and also enjoyed watching his favorite television shows.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his daughters, Jennifer DeMello and her husband Leonard who predeceased her and Angela Giannelli and her significant other Jeffrey Cardoso; his brother, Richard Giannelli and his wife Catherine; his grandchildren, Michael Gonzalez and Logan Cardoso; his nieces and nephews, Allyson Bonin, James Giannelli, Melissa Giannelli and Robert Giannelli; and his beloved dog, G.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025 from 8:30-10:30am with a Funeral Service at 10:30am in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Dartmouth, 230 Russells Mills Rd., Dartmouth followed by burial in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
