
Elizabeth L. Corley, 55, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River after a brief illness. She was born at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford, Mass. on June 7, 1958 to Dr. Paul E. Corley and Margaret L. Corley. She was pre-deceased by her parents and her brother, Paul.
Her life was devoted to the love and care of animals, both in her personal life and her professional career as a veterinary technician at New England Animal Hospital in Fairhaven.
Liz leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Adam Jackson, her siblings Lynn Archer, Nancy Aral (Ziya), and Peter Corley (Annie Prorok), as well as many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews, and a large circle of friends.
Services for Liz will be held today, November 17, 2013 at the Allen’s Neck Friends Meeting House, 739 Horseneck Road, Dartmouth, Mass. at 12:30 p.m. (For directions please visit allensneck.org)
Her family would like to thank the medical staff at Charlton Hospital, especially the nurses of Atwood 5, and Doctors Herrick, Othman, Gorski and Tokarz. Dr. Christa Johnson and nurse Paul Methot of the Southcoast Visiting Nurses Association played a vital role in the last weeks of Liz’s life. For their compassion, care and guidance we are eternally grateful.
